HTML GOODIES

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is a selection of Tags (instructions) that tells a browser how to display text. HTML affects the type, size, and color of fonts, and can provide special treatments such as underline, bold, and italics. Most HTML require a start Tag (< >) and an end Tag () with the treated text in between.

Below are a few basic Tags that can be used in BT Chat to affect your setup or posts.

For Bold Use: Text

For Italics Use: Text

For Underline Use: Text

For Blinking Use: Text
(Note: This can be annoying and should be used very sparingly)

To change Font Size Use: Text
(Note: You can also use "font size=+2" rather than "font size=5;" Numbers range from 1 through 8

To change Font Color Use: Text
(Note: There are hundreds of colors to choose from. You can use the hexadecimal number (format #FF0000 (use zeros not ohs)) in place of the name "red." The 16 basic colors by name are aqua, black, blue, fuchsia, gray, green, lime, maroon, navy, olive, purple, red, silver, teal, white and yellow. There are several color pickers online or check the Color Chart for browser safe colors.)

You can "nest" Tags to combine treatments:
Text
(Note: To prevent confusing the browser do not overlap Tags, i.e:
Text )

Believe me... this is just the start. Enjoy!
